A letter from May 19th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, i hope you’re doing okay. i hope you finally believe you are amazing & is deserving of love. i hope you are getting everything you wanted or are closer to getting it. i’m 18 while writing this to you & life right now is like hell. you’re going through a break up with blaise, you ran away from home & had lived with your best friend imeri for almost two months before living with your nana & there’s a pandemic happening & also ****** hornets (2020 is cancelled y’all). i’m telling you what you are/we’re going through right now in 2020 so that you can look back & know you’re strong. i just have a few questions for you. how is lillian ? is she dating anyone ? if so i hope you threatened them not to hurt her. are you with anyone ? are you married ? do you have kids ? if you do, what are their names? tell me what they look like & tell me their personalities. tell them i can’t wait to them. who are married to ? are still friends with mason ? did y’all ever end up dating ? what happened to blaise ? are you still friends with imeri ? tell me how her brother & sister are doing & also their mom. okay i know that was more than just a few questions but i’m actually curious. being 18 i have a lot of goals or dreams. i want to go to TLU & do a double major in animal science & music. i want to go to a med program but i haven’t quite figured out where yet. but i want to be a vet tech. if not then teach violin to people. please tell me you still play. oh my god if you quit & i will slap you no cap. i saw this idea on tik tok & i thought it was pretty cool (is tik tok still a thing ?...... do you still have an account?) & i hope i forget that i wrote this so when you read you’ll be like ‘wow :o’ if you have children you better educate them on vines. i just realized by the time you get this you’ll be 23. you’re getting old. i’m kinda scared to go to college. i don’t think i’m gonna make any new friends since i’m so scared to talk to people. i don’t want to isolate myself from people forever so hopefully you do end up making some friends when you were in college. anyways i don’t know what else to write about. i just thought this would be cool & i kinda have to take a shower so i’m gonna wrap with up. i hope you have everything you dreamed of. written with much love, you from five years ago <3
