Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hey girl, what's up? I hope you're living your best life. Currently I'm still stuck in a pandemic. I really hate the coronavirus. I know that when you read this it will probably be a minor inconvenience in your long gone past, but right now I'm missing senior prom, senior picnic (yearbook day), and most likely even graduation. We were looking forward to these moments the most, the feel good I Made It moments. Most of these recent days I've been with grandma and papa trying to help take care of them. It's been really hard since grandma fell and broke her butt. Hahaha, not funny but that phrasing is. Right now I'm really excited to go to NC State, I can't wait to know what you know now (Some real "Never Grow Up" by TS vibes). I really hope you figured out what you wanted to do in life. Also, did you meet the love of your life??? Please tell me you've at least dated some guys. I mean really, a senior in high school and you've never dated anyone? I hope you've done better. Of course I'm joking... kind of. Just the other day grandma talked to me about when I went off to college and talked to guys that "I could let them kiss me" but to be "really careful" and always "say no and hit them where it hurts if you have to". I hope you remember that conversation. She said to keep it to myself because "what happens at grandmas, stays at grandmas" but you're me so I can remind you. I didn't expect writing you a little note would make me emotional, but I'm tearing up a little bit. I mean, I saw other people doing it on tik tok so I had to join in. By the way, is tik tok still around and is it popular anymore? I still miss vine. Anyways, I have to go take Surry on a walk. Wish me luck because it's 12am and you know how we are in the dark in the middle of the night. Wishing you the best! I'm sure you'll hear from me again sometime. Much love (from the coolest), Hallie <3 Written May 14th, 2020
