A letter from May 15th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, How’s it going? I’m sure when you get this you’re about 25 right? Or...almost...hehe. I hope things are well when you read this. Oh lord I’m getting emotional and I don’t even know why. I feel like future me is starting to get emotional right now too and if you’re not... well...****. Anyways, I hope that you are happy. That you were able to achieve your goals. That you’re in love but, if you’re not and you’re heart was broken then that’s okay. You’ll fine someone who truly loves you for ..well....you. I wonder if you have kids now? If it’s a boy did you name him zahair? Daehyun? If it’s a girl did you name her Emerald? Emra? Kheumani? Sunmi? If yes omg I’m so happy but if no then that’s okay. I’m sure their names are beautiful. Also if you haven’t already did you have twins? Okay I’m getting side tracked. But like I said I really hope that you are truly happy. That you’re free of your depression, anxiety, and that you were able to accept the traumatic experience we’ve gone through when we were younger. And that you no longer think that something is wrong with you because of that. But, if you aren’t, I’m sure you will be in the next 5 years. Just keep swimming. OH! I wonder if you’re in Korea right now? I hope you were able to at least visit or travel in general. Remember, stay true to yourself. Never forget who you are. People are going to come in and out of your life. They have a purpose there for a reason. YOU’RE GOING TO MAKE MISTAKES. And that’s okay. Please, live life to the fullest because you only have so much longer to live. I also hope that you were able to love yourself. Love your insecurities. You are beautiful no matter what. Believe me.
