A letter from May 14th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Dear Beautiful Brooke, 5/14/20 This year (7th grade) was definitely one of my favorite years. My teachers made the class so much better. This year’s 1st semester I had communication skills with Mrs. Maxwell for the first hour. Then for second hour, I had coach Stustita for Social Studies. My third hour was fun because Mr. Brockmeyer was one of my favorites, we always had a bunch of jokes, and that made the class much more enjoyable. In my fourth hour, I had P.E with coach Cook. She was always super peppy and fun. My fifth hour was super fun because of Miss. Piper, she was definitely my favorite teacher (other teachers don’t take offense if you read this). Me, Miss. Piper and Taylor always had a lot of fun when we were joking around. Next was obviously the sixth hour and I had band with Mrs. Durekop. Lastly, for 7th hour I had Science with Mrs. Staats, I always had a high grade in there which I was always happy about. Then finally for advisory, I had Mr. Brockmeyer. My second semester was the same just for the first hour I had P.E with coach Boots and for fourth hour I had Money Matters with Coach. Schlieman (no offense to her but she was not my favorite). My friends this year definitely made my classes so much better. In my first hour my main friends were Taylor and Laila, me and Taylor before this year were not that close but this year we became good friends. My friends in second hour were Jade Peters and Alexis Hart. We all sat at the same table halfway through the year when we had fee seating. In my third hour my main friends were Jade and Colin, I always wanted to sit by them but Mr. Brockmeyer never would let me. My 4th Hour my main friend was Anistyn Stennett and we were pretty close all year. I had lots of friends at lunch this year but my mains are, Ceely Young, Lincoln Peebles, Jade, Taylor, Troy Huff, Bryce Peebles, Kyle Burnette, Karis, and Keivon. My fifth hour my best friends were Taylor and Alexis. My 6th hour I was closest to Colin and every day after class we always talked and we always walked to our next class together. My 7thhour I was closest to Laila even though we didn’t get to sit next to each other it was still fun. My boyfriends this year were Lincoln and we dated for 8 months and broke up on the first day of spring break. That was sad but I eventually got over it. Then I started dating Troy and we have been dating for almost 2 months. Something funny that happened this year was when we were at lunch one-day Keivon got Dippin dots and spilled them everywhere and Ceely was coming back from filling up her water bottle and she didn’t know that the Dippin Dots we on the floor everywhere and she slipped and it was the funniest thing ever. She was fine and it was ok that I was laughing because me and her are best friends. That was my funny story even though there were many many more. Something this year that happened and I never told my parents is that I was supposed to study for science every night and I never did. I still got 100% on almost every test so I didn’t really need to study. I never told my mom because she would have made me study and I didn’t need to. Don’t tell Mrs. Staats I didn’t study because then she would be disappointed in me and I don’t like it when people are disappointed in me. The Corona Virus affected my school year by be not getting to see my teachers again because my teachers really made my year so much better because they made the class fun. My year would have been totally different. I also miss my friends that I only hang out with at school because I still see some of my friends but not all of them. They also made my year much better because my classes would have been much much more boring without them. My goals for the future are to get a sports scholarship for either soccer or basketball. I also want to go to college to be a doctor. I want to be a Pediatrician because I want to help people but I want to help kids and teens. I love to help people so I thought that the medical field would be good for me. I spend my free time in lots of different ways but the main ways are Soccer, Basketball, and softball. I love playing sports because they help relieve anger or stress from school or home. They just let be debrief and focus on something else than my school work. I also love to watch Netflix. I also love to hang out with my friends because they just make life better. My birthday is in July so I haven’t celebrated yet. My last birthday was my 13th birthday and that was super fun because I got to go to Florida with my bestie Ceely. I celebrated every holiday the same except at Christmas I did all of my traditions and then I went to Ceelys house which is weird because we didn’t think our parents would let us.
