Peaceful right?

Dear You, Hey is 18 year old you. I know this is kinda weird cause it seems like you’re reading a letter from someone else but nope it’s you at 18 here. I hope you are writing to yourself every year and if your not try and do it every 5 years just to see the difference. So today in Thursday May 14th, 2020. It’s currently 2:30 am. You are 5’4”, 150 lbs, 18, living at home, don’t drive, single, and have brown hair. You are a senior in high school and “graduation” is in a month. Currently you are under a stay at home order because of Covid-19. Crazy huh. When you receive this you will be either 22 or 23, which is pretty crazy to think of. I’m gonna ask you some question and I (you at 18) will also answer them or try to. 1. Do you still hate talking to people over the phone? 2. Do you over think things less? 3. Do you still feel alone at times? 4. Are you happy with your body? Or are you more confident in yourself? 5. Do you still want or did you get a nose job? 6. Are you happy? Like genuinely happy 7. Are you married? Single? Do you have kids? If not that’s cool your like 22 so no rush 8. Did you graduate to become a teacher? And if so high school or elementary school? 9. Do your parents still live in the U.S.? If so do they still live in the same apartments? 10. Do you still talk to your brother? Are you guys closer? 11. Do you still talk to your cousins? Are any of them married and have kids? 12. How’s are your grandparents? How’s your family in Mexico? 13. Do you still talk to people from high school? If so who ? 14. Do you still live in Washington or did you move else where? 15. Do you drive? Please say yes. If you say no then go learn/get your license. 16. Did you make any long term friends in college? 17. Have you visited any places outside of the U.S.? 18. Have you gone any of the other Disney theme parks ? (Im hoping you say yes to this one) 19. What’s the craziest thing you have done? 20. Random but necessary. Are you still questioning your *********? 21. Do you still think about the people who hurt you or didn’t end on the right hand with? Did you ever end up reconnecting with them? Now some questions for comparison. (Not that they are that important) 1. Favorite color? Currently it’s light blue, lavender, and any shade of pink (idk why but you like pink) 2. Do you have any tattoos? I (18) really want to get one but did you follow through and get one? 3. Going along with the previous question, did you get a nose piercing? And did you dye your hair any non natural color? I’ve always wanted to go purple or blue maybe pink. And the nose piercing is something you always wanted 4. Do you still have the memorie box? I haven’t finished decorating it but it has stuff in it. Did you add things? Do you look at it from time to time? 5. Is the world still a scary place? Not saying it’s scary right now but it sure isn’t that pretty. Do people have more equality? Is racism still bad? How’s nature? 6. Did a lot change after covid-19? Does it still effect you? Right now it’s now the best cause you don’t get to do normal things like every other senior. But is it still affecting you ? 7. How’s Sydney? She’s been your best friend for a whole. Do you still talk to her? Is she married or have kids? 8. How are the rest of the girls? You don’t talk to them all as much as you should but you guys are still kinda close. 9. Is your dad still sober? He’s been sober for 7ish years now and allthough I don’t think he will relapse it’s scary to think that he will. 10. Are you happy with your weight? Are your parents happy with their weight? Currently your struggling to love your body but your working on it and so are your parents? 11. How’s Eric? Is he married or have kids? Is he happy? He’ll be 25 or 26 maybe 27 when you get this. What’s he up to? Try to stay in contact with him no matter how far you guys are. Did he move to California like he always wanted to? 12. How was graduation? Did it end up working out? 18 year old you is stressed about that cause it isn’t looking to good. I hope then you’re happy when you get this. I hope everything you dreamt of ended up working out. Don’t lose contact with your brother or parents they mean everything to me/you. If your not okay when you get this don’t forget what your goals are. Don’t forget what you want. I know you tell myself this all the time but everything happens for a reason. If you life now isn’t what I envisioned that’s okay, plans change. I genuinely hope your good though and that you are happy. Btw 18 year old you was crying while writing this. But I hope your good. I will always love you, don’t forget that. See you in 5 years. Much love, You at 18💕 P.S. keep your head up, you got this.
