A letter from May 12th, 2020

Dear future self, Hi, I am Michael Mu from five years ago. I am now in quarantine due to the Corona-virus and I thought about a lot of things during this period. With that being said, I felt very depressed and discouraged towards this incident. All public areas, including schools, were closed and I was pretty concerned about this because it might drag down my progress in education. During quarantine, I had thought about the doctors and nurses saving all humanity from getting infected and how they were willing to risk their lives in order to fight against COVID-19. I was very proud of their courage and determination. While school was closed, I tried out many different new skills, willing to improve oneself into a more talented person. As I was watching the rappers rap on TV, I thought of trying it out because it was pretty cool, so rap started to spark my interest and I began to learn rap from YouTube and other different sources. I also tried to maintain my body shape by running and working out everyday. All the things I am doing today makes me think about you. After five years, I hope that I can go to my dream college and make a lot of new friends over there. I also hope that my family are all safe and healthy. When you are reading this letter, I want you to remember all the heroes that are determined to fight against Corona-virus. I want myself to honor them with my greatest respect. Some heroes passed away due to this incident, but they are all remembered and by all people. ( I still don't know if you are supposed to switch between tenses in a letter, lol. I hope you can get yourself some girls. Not like now where you have 0 experiences.) Sincerely, Michael Mu
