A letter from May 11th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hi sweetie. Right now we’re going through quarantine. Life is super weird and idk if it’s ever going to be the same. Today is May 11th. Brent’s birthday is in a month (yayyyyy!!!) but he’s turning 30 and I legitimately have NO idea what we’re doing. I just want to make it as special as I can for him ❤️ You guys have been together for almost 10 years now! Congrats on making it and doing what makes you two happy ❤️❤️ So, it’s 5 years from now, which means you are 29 and Brent is 34. I know having a baby was always in the back of your mind. I hope we had the wedding we wanted or were able to just enjoy something with the two of you. I want to say I hope you have a little one running around, but if you don’t, know it’s okay! You guys will figure everything out. If y’all do have a little one running around, I have a feeling another one (or two) are on the way. I’m regards to tiny humans: I hope Cristin is thriving. I have a feeling by the time this comes around, she’ll be a big sister, which is insane. She’ll be a big girl and in Kinder when you’re reading this! Don’t ever forget she means so much to both of you and no matter what is going on with Caitlin, she is and always will be your niece and god baby. Right now we’re in the middle of an argument with Robin & Caitlin. Kaylee is also in an argument with both of you. This is ****** and I hope by the time you read this, things are at least fixed with Kaylee. I hope the swim school is succeeding and Brent’s streaming is thriving. We’re still living with mom and dad right now, but I hope y’all moved into your own perfect little place for your perfect little family. Now, Gizmo, Meep, & KoKo - they’re big kids now. I’m not sure if they’re all still around and if they are: enjoy everything you have left with them. They are the most precious baby angels and love you no matter what. Lastly, let’s talk about family! Starting off with Grandma. She just turned 95 and if you’re reading this, and she’s with us, she’s 100 now. If she’s not, it is okay. Please know she’s happy. She’s with everyone she wants to be with and is happy and with grandpa again. Don’t cry too much, I promise she’s okay. Right now, dad is on dialysis. It’s not lookin too hot, but, hopefully by the time you’re reading this things turned around. I hope he had an amazing and successful surgery and he’s being a great and amazing grandpa to your little ones. Mom is doing great with her work and is happy with where she’s at. Now it’s about you - I hope everything is going well. I hope you’re happy and healthy and doing what you want in life. I hope you and Brent have been to Disneyland a stupid amount of times and have visited WDW at least 2 more times. You better have gotten a foreign park in there too! Keep doing what you love. I promise everything will be okay. Read this to Brent and remind him what y’all have been through and where you are now. Crazy, I know. You guys did it. Keep it up.
