A letter from May 6th, 2020

dear ella, you are probably abt to graduate and i am SO proud and i'm sure everyone else is too. rn i'm in seventh grade, it is like May 6, 2020, in quarantine cuz of coronavirus. THIS SUCKS!!! o and i died my hair dark brown for the first time today and at first it looked really black kinda but now it looks good but it also looks like a wig sooo yea. hopefully you r going to college but if not that's cool bc atleast ur parents love you and you will be able to be at home for however long you need in order to prepare for whatever is next. maybe u have a bf, if u do i hope he's rlly nice and if he is cute and kind and generous and cares about u and loves u for u, not for your body, then he's probably a keeper. if u have already had a bf and it didn't work, brush it off. remember anderson? yea he goes to Northwest Highschool now. or atleast he should be. we thought we loved him. i think we might have. it didn't work and i know that and that's ok. one day he will wake up and regret it. or maybe he won't bc he is honestly like one of my best friends and we both wanna keep our friendship healthy and not ruin it wit drama. and i found a quote that basically explains what i wanna live by relationship wise. "don't chase, attract." and that does not mean just on the outside. be "the girl who never stopped smiling". don't have great looks and a sucky personality. ITS NOT GONNA WORK!!! o and hopefully u have a job that u enjoy but if not u can always join real estate ;) love urself bro its not that hard. it may seem like it but it's not. hopefully u have a car and a puppy, which u will !!!!!!! If Max has passed, its ok to cry. he was the best and you probably think that u regret not being with him that much but trust me u were. u were there for him and he was there for u to snuggle and pet and talk to. if he's not, don't count down the days, make the days count. wait, actually, do that everyday. no matter what. maybe u cuss some and maybe u don't but hey, school was not the best influence from the beginning. but ur personality reflects off the ppl u r around. remember that. LISTEN TO ME. DONT do drugs. ik u r told this a lot but fr don'ttttt do itttttt. college might force u or manipulate u to do drugs or drink alcohol but DON'T. it could ruin everything u have worked toward in order to get where u r today. 14 years of education? down the drain. all your trusting relationships? gone. DON'T DO IT PLEASE I BEG OF U ELLA. btw if 2020 was better then what it was in the beginning, be GRATEFUL!!! u prolly don't need a reminder of all that went down from January through April so far. and age doesn't matter in school. show off ur smarts and ur skills. whether its soccer or acting or being a doctor or whatever...don't waste what u have and ur skill sets. alrighty i am running out of things to say so byeeeee ily and keep it up! <3
