A letter from May 6th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, I know you are currently going through being in quarantine in the one place that you do not wish to stay for longer periods of time. But if you do have time to check your email and see this letter, just know that you are a fighter and you conquered the pandemic. Now, I know you and Omayra are still going strong with your friendship and that's great. Hopefully you and her can actually be roommates and share an apartment so that you don't have to mentally and emotionally go through an unsafe environment. At least she's a keeper. As for your success with writing about your experiences in your book, I hope you sell millions because you always have stories to tell and you managed to stay focused. I think you're very talented. Now as for your aunt, I hope karma gets her and same for your cousins because I know your relationship has not been the same since the summer of 2012. I don't blame you for feeling this way because it's very unforgivable. But don't you worry, you still look better than what's her name, Jaylynn. You got meat on your bones, you got swagger, you got personality, and you are more multi-talented than she'll ever be. She wishes she was you that's why she acts the way she does, it's all for jealousy. You may not have known it all along but it will come clicking in your brain. I can't wait to order your book, read it and have it signed because you my friend are going to be a star. So stay strong!!!
