Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Currently, a lot has been going on in the world and honestly I'm still trying to wrap my head around it all. Schools have been shut down due to the current COVID-19 outbreak. Many people are losing their lives, and lots of families are in distress. The only thing we can do for now is pray and continue to stay inside and practice our social distancing. Everyone is in a tough time in their life right now and everyone is feeling something different. Some happy because school is closed, some upset because school is closed, some just plain bored. Of course, I feel worrisome due to the outbreak and everything being down. But, I also feel very calm at the same time. Calm because I get to stay in the comfort of my own house, and do my work at home instead of at physical school which I am very happy about. I’ve mostly been thinking about plans for the summer, and if there even will be a summer. I just can’t wait to get out of the house, resume my normal everyday life and enjoy my summer this year, after all I feel like we all need a summer break after what we have been going through for the past few months. At home, since there isn’t really much to do I have just been passing time by playing video games, watching youtube and netflix, eating, sleeping, and doing school work of course. Surprisingly, the days have been going by fast. I just wish for everyone to be safe and healthy physically, and emotionally when this is all over so we can just try to move on and live our lives to the fullest. I want to remember when we dwell back on this time from the past in the future, how we all tried to help each other and stay strong together. Fight through this together and continue to motivate and pick everyone up when we were feeling down or even starting to feel hopeless. It's the good you want to focus on and remember, not the bad. Sincerely, past me xoxo.
