Dear FutureMe,
Hi, how are you? Today is may 5th, 2020- a nice, warm and sunny Sunday. Of course, you can't go out because it's quarantine and you have way to much to study for next month's exam.
By the time you get this letter you would've got into your dream college, finished it and started the postgraduate program. And if you didn't... good for you! I'm sure you found what you were meant to be doing.
At this moment in time you -me- are wrecked, don't feel good and you are on the verge of giving up. These past months were bad. Your grandpa died, you realised that your mom and dad don't really care about you, your entire family seem to think you are a fool and you feel so very alone. You kinda hate your mom and dad, but I hope you don't in the future. The situation seems awful. If you are still alive when this letter arrives I'm sure you're going to laugh your *** off about it, about how dramatic I sound. But let's be honest here, we have always been drama queens.
I don't know what I'm suppose to write here, our English's teacher lessons on writing letters did not imply what the heck we should say to ourselves (btw, how's Ramona R.?).
Maybe by then you have learned to value yourself, to get over that paralyzing shyness of yours. I also hope you found someone you love.. You deserve it.
I guess I'm going to end this letter here. Hug your sister and your grandma. Kiss the '*******' for me.
And even if sometime didn't look like it, know that I always loved you.
-past C.
