A letter from May 2nd, 2020

Dear FutureMe, It's been 5 years. You sent this as a joke really, who knows if you have the same email?! But 5 years is a bloody long time. I hope that wherever you are, whatever you're doing, whoever you're with.. You're happy. That's all you've ever really been chasing.. To be happy. I hope Miss Ella is still a part of your life and if sadly not, remember that she was the light of your life and the best thing that happened to you, she got you through some rough times in your mid to late 20s. I really, really hope you're happy and if this brings a smile to your face...the idea of 28 year old you writing yourself a future email.. Who knows? Have a laugh. Be good to yourself, Sonia xo
