Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, By now you are probably finishing school and I wanted to remind you (me) that it is very important to be engaged in the political process of your country, because the political decisions that get made will affect you and your loved ones. So by voting you engage in political decisions. You are from Greece. Greece . is a Parliamentary Republic, meaning that the government operates under a parliamentary system, also meaning that the citizens of that country vote for the president to be elected. Voting is very important because it affects who will be elected to be president or leader of your country . Leaders are chosen because it is believed that they know what's best. When you choose a leader you believe that they will affect your country in a good way, better than all the other candidates. If underage and cant vote or take part in any political event, persuade parents into voting for a specific person for example, if you have researched all the candidates and know how all of them work, then you pick who you think would be best and try to persuade your parents. Research, watching the news, comparing, if there is something you feel strongly about, research it and learn more.Join a youth club created by political parties. I can impact my country's political process_by learning more about my country's politics, researching to help me understand the country's politics, I could also join a political party. My involvement today will affect my and my families life in the future. Vote for the leader that i feel will be best for my country. Voting is very important because it affects who will be elected to be president or leader of our country . Leaders are chosen because it is believed that they know what's best. When you choose a leader you believe that they will affect your country in a good way better than all the other candidates. We vote because every vote counts and by voting for who you think is the best leader will affect your country, yourself, and your loved ones.We vote because every vote counts and by voting for who you think is the best leader will affect your country, yourself, and your loved ones.Be aware and seperate the issues between internal and external policies. Researching to learn more about your countries politics.Educate myself about the sensitive issues which I believe affect and will affect my life in the future. The political issues which affect the internal and external policies, for example the internal policies have to do with dealing with the economy, the society, health and education. The external policies have to do with issues which affect the national security migration, threats and actions against the national security of the country, border security etc. If I don't educate myself I will not have a broad knowledge of the issues that concern my country. That is why it is important to know my country's history, and culture. In order to explain more accurately the behavior, mentality and policies of my countries decision makers.Actions taken to have an impact. It's impossible for an underaged individual to take political actions, but knowledge and education can assist in forming an opinion, for example on issues like racial and religious equality. Actions may include, forming of discussion groups, addressing the issues with politicians. By creating or joining a political party youth group, you learn more about your country's political decisions and can have your voice heard. Talking to politicians and getting to know what they would offer your country if elected can affect the way you think. In order to feel empowered to make my country a better place for myself and the people I care for, I need to educate, have a broad knowledge and information, take action and influence policy makers. It is important to participate in the political process and be prepared ,well informed, in order to make my voice heard. I will do so by reaching out to my countries policy makers. How do I imagine my future would look if I wasn't included in the processes? What would my country's future be if I and others like me remain indifferent? Stay positive! Sincerely, Mariza 2020
