A letter from April 24th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, omg heyyyyy future katie!!! Today is April 23 2020 and im laying in bed on this fine thursday evening. We are about 4 weeks in to this corona virus quarentine thing where we dont have school, have to social distance, and wear maks in public. It is so strange to see and its a weird new normal. I hope by the summer we can go out and be normal teenagers again. Thank god mom and dad let you have Halle and some boys over each weekend. Im not gonna say the name (you will remember anyway once i say this) but you are slaying the game rn with a college D1 lax player (see now you remember). Also right now test in an old group chat on snap with your highscool friends just to say hi. I am really trying to enjoy theses last few moments of being a child. I graduate next year!! I hope I finally get a boyfriend and lose some weight. Right now I really wanna go to FAU... not sure what the hell im gonna study but what ever ill figure something out. Katie listen if your in college right now this is a sign to go out tonight and party, go **** that guy youve been thinking about, and most importantly call mom and dad to tell them you love them. After college I wanna travel and experience life while being a mate on a mega yacht. I wanna have crazy memories to tell my kids and most importantly i wanna be able to tell them that i didnt regret anything. You will get this email in 5 years (im 17 now so your prob 22). How the **** are you 22 *****.. its crazy plz dont get all sentimental and cry. I bet ryans making banks at the yacht club still and my dads right there by his side. Tommy is probably with some news station... or who knows maybe he is finally a flight attendant. Snapchat or text ryan and tommy right now and check in. I love weed and im high right now. I hope you found something your really passionate about. I hope maybe you have fallen madly in love. You know whats right and you know your goals and standards in life are high. Tommy didnt call u princess all the time for nothing. Im gonna send this so it gets to you on your birthday so happy birthday *****... plz go party hard bc i am just realizing that you are legally allowed to drink and buy alc. Get a mikes harder mango for good old memories. What ever is going on now you will get through. Enjoy life Katie. Its going by so quickly.
