A letter from April 16th, 2020

Dear Future me, Today is April 15,2020 and I am currently sitting at my kitchen table eating apples with peanut butter listening to Dancing Queen by ABBA while being quarantined because of the Corona virus which basically is super annoying. Since we got quarantined there has been nothing to do at home except watch tik toks or binge watch criminal minds all 15 seasons and apparently we are obsessed with word search puzzles like I am so serious we can do one in like under a minute. During this whole pandemic I am feeling a little bored and tired with this whole situation like I want to go out and hang out with my friends or go and see my best friend who I haven't seen in two months. I hope right now I at least attempted to get into college and get a bachelor's degree in forensics, criminal justice, and psychology. Ever since I watched criminal minds it seemed like an interesting job to go into and learn about crimes and try and solve crimes for others. Becoming a profiler could be fun but it could also be very dangerous but if putting my life on the line for other so I could give them some closure then sign me up. In five years, I hope we are doing what we dreamed of and are living our happy lives with our dream job. So, future me we need to talk about life that is happening right now this very second when you were 18 years old. A lot has happened I know some day you will remember it all like starting with losing your best friend and the one person who could understand you I'm taking about our grandpa ,Popo, and I know that we are broken and so sad about it and you don’t think life will ever be the same well you are right but I'm sure popo wouldn’t want you crying over him and feeling sad. He would want you to feel happy that he is no longer in pain and that he is happy with his dad and his friends. Another thing is we need to get through tough times together and ask for help and stop bottling our feelings and lashing out on people who are trying to help and we also need to stop crying over guys who will never like you back and that okay that they don’t because someone out there will and they will make you the happiest person in the world. So future me I hope you are staying your goofy self and not changing a single thing about you and keep the friends you have now because they are pretty freaking amazing I will be here you for you whenever.
