A letter from April 16th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAYYYYY!!! Heyy betchhh, its been years, i hope you became a better self, better than before. I hope you graduated and I really hope you chase your dreams. Whatever you are facing right now, you can overcome it. I mean you already came this far in life, why stop? Remember our goal? you know, to be a surgeon. Its okay if you changed your mind, you were naive at that time anyway, please, now that you're in that time in your life where probably everything is a mess, remember to always follow your heart, if you want a different career path its okay, as long as it makes you happy. Now familt time, if in this time, your relationship with your father is still the same, I really encourage you to talk to him about how you feel, how you actually feel, no lies just the truth. Also how’s your half sibling? Were you good to him? I wonder how you treated him, but i hope you treated him well, i know you didn't want any of this to happen but its not his fault. So if you did treat him good, then good for you girl, but if not, i hope you start to. None of this was his fault. And at this time if you're still mad about the fact that your parents aren't together anymore, its okay. But maybe uts time to move on. Things like that just happen, you cant do anything more. Your brother, si kuya. How’s he? Well I hope he’s doing good, you guys are probably not seeing each other anymore assuming that he went back to Philippines and you didn’t. That’s okay. Maybe talk to him from time to time, I know you guys had a rough time growing up, its fine. Finally, let’s talk about your love life. Tell me everything abouttt ittttt. Did you meet the one, Are stil straight? haha jk unless hahaha. Anyway, if you are with someone, I hope your happy with him, you deserve it. If you don’t, then it’s fine. You don’t need anyone for now, I mean you’ve been fighting alone for 18 years now, what could possibly change? Anyway aside from that, I hope you’re happy. And please,please,please put those suicidal thoughts away, you are loved by many people. You might not know it but a lot of them really love you. Now that you’re 18, I hope you treat yourself better, better than how you treat yourself 5 years ago, love yourself *****. You are beautiful, always remember that. Thats all, now I hope you’re ready, well you kinda have to be, but this is it! You’re gonna be in the real world now, things will get hard, but don’t give up! Just hang in there! You got this!
