A letter from November 23rd, 2019

To Future A***. I don't know where we're going to be at the time you receive this, but it doesn't matter. I think you should be roughly 25 at this time. I am 19 at the time of writing this. Currently I am facing a lot of things that will determine your future. Drugs, debt, decisions.. If I have got my **** together by then, please take 5 minutes to go talk to mum. Tell her you love her and tell her about this. I've done some dumb **** in the past but I know you remember. Do not torment yourself. Whatever has happened has happened. Learn from it and move on. The world needs you, your family needs you. The eldest kids should be in their teens by now, remember how you always wanted someone to help guide you at their age. Be that person for them. They will really need it. I know you did. If you are still facing the same problems that I am currently, you need to face it properly. You have the potential to do great things. Don't let the world go by knowing that you could have done so much more. If you are still doing drugs, STOP. All it is doing is slowing you down. I love you with all my heart. Present A*** - 23/11/19.
