Time Travelled — over 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hi, Happy 18th birthday! How are you doing? Are you enjoying life as a new adult? Remember back in 6th grade when you met "him"? Do you still like him? Are you guys still in contact? It's been a year, he's now in 9th grade and I still can't get him off my mind. I never liked anyone for so long. You can call me immature but I hope you still don't have a boyfriend yet! If you do, past-self will be disappointed unless your boyfriend is "him" or "basketball" or "sink". I'll let those guys slide. Oh, and I hope you haven't forgotten about "basketball and sink", those are the code names you and your friends made up 6 years ago for the boys at school you thought was "cute". Remember "girl code"? The code you made up to communicate will your friends so nobody understands you? And was made little dictionaries that looked like burn books to hold our secrets and codes in it. It was cute but I can't believe we are so childish in grade 7! But we can't help it, it was so much fun. Back to "him", I hope you haven't forgotten about him yet because he was a BIG part of my life during the past year since I met him. I won't go into details (hoping that you'd still remember them) because what if he sees this? I honestly can't like someone else if me and "him" are still in touch. And recently I got a journaling book with a lock on it. It's so cute. It's blue with flowery binding and on top, it says "good vibes". I started to journal. Are you still journaling? I have to leave now but I still have a couple of things to say. I hope you're doing great, and get into your dream university. I really hope you and "him" are still in touch. Have a great day! Best regards, Your past self Nov/22/2019
