A letter from January 1st, 2018

Dear future Me, Whatever names they give you, you have come to know that it's all an image people hope to see. You lost friends. You gained friends. You met someone who may just be the love of your life. There are challenges. There will always be challenges. But I hope you have gotten better at taking them one at a time and gracefully. You have your own battle within yourself with your own sins. I hope you have learned to fight them and asked forgiveness and seek redemption from the people you have wronged. I hope you are where you have always wanted to be. I hope you are happy. Today, I am writing to you from Monday, 1st of January 2018. A year from now, I hope you have finally graduated and can now do what you love in life. Help those in need, give a voice to those who do not have a voice. 5 years from now I hope you are happily married to the man you love, or have found happiness and peace with yourself.
