Hello!
This is my plan for wrapping up the EE degreee!
I've finally got a concrete potential course list for wrapping up my degree! I'm waiting on receiving replies about getting into classes for this semester (all of these have open slots and fit together, but I need permission from professors/departments to take them), but I have confirmed that these class choices will be sufficient to complete my degree on time.
This Semester:
ECE 470: Robotics (+Lab) [Already In] 4 credits
BIOE 415: Bioinstrumentation Lab [requested access] 2 creds
ECE 515: State Space Control [requested access] 4 cred grad course
ECE 398 PSC Planning for senior design team project OR ECE 496 senior thesis part 1 of 2 [asked prof which of two I should take & to join] both are 2 creds, I would only take one of those two
ENG 398 SJS, Engineering for Social Justice, [applying to get in] 4 creds
Total: either 12 creds or 16 creds, depending on if I get into the SJE program or not
Next Semester:
ECE 385 Digital Systems Lab (bitchload of stupid work course), 3cred, specifically required
ECE 445 Senior team project 4cred OR ECE 499 Senior Thesis part 2 of 2, 2cred
ECE 340 Semiconductor Devices 3 credits, specifically required
ECE 310 Signal Processing 3 credits, required (equivalently ECE 330 Power Electronics in case of conflict/too much work)
ENG 398 LES: Leadership in Engineering for Social Justice [only if I am accepted into SJE program] 4creds
ME 481 Whole-Body Musculoskeletal Biomechanics [only if I am not accepted into SJE program & If offered] 3credits
Total: between 13 and 17 credits
Graduation: May 2017 regardless of permutations.
I may move ECE 310 forward a semester if I do not get in to the SJE program this week in order to lessen the load on my final semester.
Hope that clears some of the uncertainty up!
