Dear Katie,
I am writing you this letter, mainly because I would hope that when you read this 10 years down the road everything that you ever wanted for yourself has come true. Right now, you are struggling with so much. There is so many things going on in your life, and I wish that things for you are going much smoother. Within your teenage years, you moved out of your parents’ house just to move right back in two months later. You spent a lot of time crying over a boy who wasn’t worth it. Your parents were struggling trying to make sure that you and your sisters had everything you needed, but they ended up doing a very good job! Also you’re job in fast food seems to be giving you such a hard time and hopefully you’ll be done.
I hope to see you in the Navy pursuing everything that you want. Hopefully when you graduate you will be a certified EMT, and you’ll probably even be a paramedic! I would like to think that by this time in your life you are married and happy with a cute little family, living on a military base. I hope that your dad gets to walk you down the aisle, and your mom gets to help you get into that big beautiful wedding dress and you have the most beautiful wedding. I also hope that you have made yourself such a successful person and you are not struggling to make ends meet. I wish for you to make sure that you never give up your dreams and you always chase after what you want, and you never let anyone get in your way and try to make your life miserable.
I wish for you to have the best life possible. I don’t you to ever worry about falling down the wrong path. Life can hand you some crazy things, and you should always learn to overcome them. You can’t always read what it’s going to bring to you, but you can always get through everything. If you ever need any help don’t ever forget to call whoever you know is there for you. Just remember time you enjoyed wasting wasn’t wasted, and always give yourself time to think through things before you make decisions. Never make decisions if you are angry, upset, or happy. Those types are always the worst.
Sincerely, Katie
