Dear FutureMe, You're about to leave high school right now. Isn't that crazy? It seems pretty crazy to me. I wonder what you're like now... I bet you're still pretty freaking awesome. ;) Are you and Aaron still dating? Or have you guys married yet? You're 27! Are you married? Trying for kids? Haven't found the right guy? I hope you're with Aaron. He really is a great guy. You know he's a great guy... duh. You're dating him! Or, you were dating him. Whatever. How the heck are you? I'm not doing so hot right now. Remember auditions? Yeah, the musical. Not good. I hope you remember. What role did you snag? I hope it wasn't ensemble... you know you're too good for ensemble. Seagall even told you that you were too good for ensemble. Are you still pursuing theater? Remember you used to LOVE theater. I hope you are. Since this is ten years in the future you're 27 right now. CRAZY! How are things with mom? Are they still rough? Have you finally changed your hairstyle? How about that job? Are you a special education teacher yet? Everyone always tells me (us) that we have a knack for that. Have you talked to Matthew lately? YOU BETTER HAVE! If you haven't you need to hop up and get in contact with him RIGHT NOW. Well, after you read this letter. Are you published yet? Remember Broken Places? Awe, it's such a little baby! A little baby novel! How is your relationship with The Man Upstairs? Are you still devoutly believing? I hope so. I know your (our) life is trying, but you still gotta keep it up. I wanna go to heaven someday, and I hope you're there with me! Are there any floating hovercars yet? What about any new iPhones? I should probably get off of here now; I've gotta get ready for school. Senior year, whoohoo! Cast list is up after school today. Hopefully I'll remember today as a success and not a heartbreak.
