To my dearest Vallery Heart,
Did you become the person you dreamed of? Are you happy with your life? Did you travel to Paris with your family? Are you living in a comfortable house with a luxurious car? Have you become a doctor or a nurse abroad? Is everything going well?
I wrote this letter today, June 5, 2025. My journey has started, and I am already a STEM student—your answered prayer. I'm writing this because I want you to feel more eager about the future. I hope this serves as inspiration and gives you the energy to read this when you are already successful. One day, you'll look back on these tough days and be able to say, "I did it."
I just want to remind you that behind all the pain, stress, anxiety, and self-doubt, great opportunities are coming your way. I trust you, Vallery Heart! I know you are strong and capable of doing better. I believe you will achieve your dreams and provide the best life for your family—not just the best, but the very best!
But please, be kinder to yourself because you are human too. You must be strong day by day because that is your power! Don’t avoid problems; that’s not what life is about! Life is truly about facing your problems and embracing those experiences. Every challenge shapes you into the best woman you can be.
If you’re experiencing denial, just remember that it’s part of success. You don’t have to worry if sometimes it feels like your dreams are being denied. Just keep pushing forward, and no matter how denial speaks to you, don’t ever give up, okay? All of this is for your family, right? So be strong!
I also know that many people around you may be discriminating against or judging you. One thing you need to do is to let them. Let them judge or discriminate because, at the end of the day, you are the one who will deal with every challenge and success. They don’t have a stake in your life.
I hope you passed the entrance exam for the College of Nursing, but if not, that’s okay! Your life will not end if you don’t get into your dream course. There are many universities that will accept you, so trust God at all times. Through your experiences in college, I hope you will grow and improve! I hope you conquer all your obstacles.
This will be the end of the letter. It may not be perfect, but I hope you are happy right now, V. Be kinder to yourself and always choose kindness above all else.
