A letter from January 4th, 2025

Dear FutureMe, 
Miles is here, he's currently 4 days Old and the easiest baby. Levi is 2 1/2 and adjusting to Miles. today was tough.
I miss Levi's company and spending time with him. it's hard not to take his rejection personal, he's only a child and I understand its the only way he knows how to handle his emotions about seeing his mum taking care of another baby. But the pain is still very real, just keep reminding him everyday that you love him regardless if he wants you around or not. And remember that he loves you and this stage is just as hard if not harder for him than it is for yourself. 
I hope you didn't beat yourself up too much about it, it's okay to cry about it and let the emotions out your handling it well, you are a great mum! it's just a normal phase and it will pass. But **** these postnatal hormones! 

Anyway, keep thinking of the two of them growing up together and playing together, things will get easier.
