Dear Future Novie
Hey hey, it's me again, your annoying past self. Let's talk about feelings, shall we? Let's start with your emotional feelings, how are you? Are you sad? Are you happy? Do you feel empty or do you feel content with your life now? Hey, if you're not okay, cry it out, talk to someone and try to understand your feelings. Just like how I do when I feel sad and lonely, I always talk to myself and try to make sense of it. It works, trust me.
Anyways, let's move on and talk about your personal feelings. Haven't I told you not to rush on love? Did you follow me? 'Cause if you did, you're safe and I know that your future's gonna be brighter than the sun. But if you didn't and you let your feelings consume you, you're dead.
To be honest, I've always liked the concept of love. People describe it as ecstatic, wonderful, and painful. It's nice to have someone to love you, to hold hands with, and to do things that you love. It is indeed, love is wonderful.
Sometimes we mistakenly see love as friendship and friendship as love. I mean, it's confusing when we see best friends act like couples and couples act like best friends. Yeah, sounds familiar. And you know what's the worst part? Unrequited love. It's not like a crush and not just a crush on someone you know you don't have a chance with. Unrequited love is much more painful than that, you're willing to do everything to show them and convince them of your love but they're oblivious of it. Ouch, that hurts.
Well, I hope you learned something today and you better 'cause I'm writing this while having an exam.
Love,
Novie E. aka Your Past Self
