A letter from February 1st, 2020

Dear Old Natalie, Big hi from 17 year old you!!! Either you'll get this when you're 22 or you've since changed emails YET AGAIN. You need to stop doing that, I'll be SO disappointed in you if you have. Go through and delete emails, dont just get stressed and make new accounts. 3 times at the time of me writing this. God. I wonder how different we'll be ?? A lot will change in 5 years and only you'll know about it. I hate not knowing things so you better appreciate it. Tech probably wont advance much but I'd like to imagine you have flying boats now or something. A cure for OCD would be great. Is your favourite band still Muse? Hope not, find some variety. How was the Wicked movie? Or The New Mutants? ahahhahahahhahaha jk. At this exact moment I'm sick in bed listening to the magnus archives podcast and not doing a history essay. I'm coughing and in pain and v v uncomfortable. Hope I'm better by the time I'm 22 but all the corona virus talk is making me paranoid. Also, the podcast will have long ended by the time you get this so make sure to tell me how it ends (I predict either jon or martin dying but I'm NOT happy with either. tim destroyed me enough). Maybe you've had the sense to stop listening to it because it's terrifying and keeps you awake. The Good Place just ended too and I watched the finale today and may have cried. Has Disney bought out netflix to build up their terrifying monopoly by now? Rn I'm studying for my a-level in a year's time (history, literature and psychology) and it's been more difficult and stressful than I thought. I got into the ******* though and that seemed to magically help (no joke). They should do a psych study on that. You should if you choose to pursue psychology. Sixth form is nice though because I like everyone in my classes, I get to go home whenever I want and the vegan sausage rolls in the cafeteria are GREAT !!! I bet you miss them. You're probably in university by now studying whatever you choose to do. I dont know what itll be but currently I'm considering English Lit w/ creative writing so maybe you chose that. I hope you still write, more than I currently do now. Do you ever get around to writing that ****** mystery I've been coming up with for the past month? With "Cynthia Byrne"? I only have 1 page written right now so hopefully you have more. I hope uni is treating you well. Maybe you've made new friends or got a partner 👀. Or maybe you havent and I just made you feel terrible. I know ive done this before but 17 year old evan inspired me to do it again. Ask him how the new ben platt music is from me (his letter asks himself the same). I hope you're still friends with him despite his moving to devon but if you arent then wtf are you doing, this is your excuse to text him!! Say hi to evil goblin future Ripley for me. And Beth also !
