Dear FutureMe,
December 11, 2019
Dear Self,
I was going to begin this letter by saying future self but decided against it based on the fact that you are living your future self. You have embarked on a journey that is challenging you to look beyond your sight and see what is not in plain sight.
Transformational learning and thinking can be summed up as continuous critical reflection. By applying reflection that includes critical thought you are not only becoming the type of leader that forces change but you are becoming a leader that many will have to listen to whether they agree or not.
One of the values you have set forward and transcended is the ability to move past the box. We hear the term think outside the box, but you have moved pasted the box and created a new model for others to follow.
I know some may write themselves long letters that have many encouraging thoughts but as a writer and being true to who I am, the goal we have is to incorporate our transformational thinking into our daily lives.
We once wrote the words, being deeply rooted simply means that as with the changing seasons, we all need to take time to evaluate our roots for wear and tear, repair those that need it and smooth shea butter on the rest. Transformational learning and thinking have become the shea butter and we have applied it and will continue to apply it because the box was once there now we are beyond the box and creating new shapes. Shapes that many will not understand bu shapes that will forever design our path and develop new shapes for years to come.
Be Blessed Beloved
