A letter from August 21st, 2019

Dear Future Morgan Beltzer, Hi. It's me, Morgan Beltzer. The year is 2019, and I'm currently 12 years old. It's strange to think that the next time I read this, I won't be a child anymore, but rather an adult. I guess you're the real Morgan now, and I'm just a past memory of your childhood. I can't believe the time has gone by so fast, as I imagine the next time I read this you'll feel like our childhood has just come and gone. So now that this is your life, and you're an adult, I just wanted to write this email. I hope you'll find this. As I said, the year is 2019, and I am 12 years old. I turn 13 in just 2 months, and I can't wait to finally be a teenager! I just started 7th grade this week. My teachers seem nice, but I miss my old teachers. Remember Mrs. Mogensen? And Mrs. Whitehead? I hope so, they really helped us out. best teachers ever if I am being honest. I wonder how 7th grade will go. 8th grade for that matter. But of course, you already know that! So far in school, I am doing well. My grades are nice and high. I feel smart, and I'm pleased with how I do in school. Language arts is my strongest subject. We are currently starting the book "The Outsiders." How is it? I like it so far. I hope I keep doing good. I have no idea what I want to do when I grow up. I'm actually texting my friend Natalka! She is mad that I blocked her on TicTock. I blocked her because I don't want her to see my comments on posts. Speaking of Natalka, I should tell you about my friends! My best friend is CJ and Natalka. I am also friends with other kids but they don't really matter. I wonder if I will meet new friends and keep the old. Right now, I have quite a few interests. I love the social media TicTock! Our old ticktock account is @Kittendragon22 if you forgot! The password is lilly9 .I also enjoy playing Minecraft and watching youtube. I love art. I do acrylic paintings and mom and dad say they are pretty good. I also enjoy watching TV. I like the shows Stranger Things, Riverdale, Jessy, My Hero Academia, and anything on Netflix. I think 11 from stranger things is super cute, but i swear I am strait! I also like to ride my bike, talk with friends, eat alot, play online, and playing with my toys. I still play the game animal jam. Im super rare on it, too. If you forgot, the animal jam username is Kittendragon22, and the password is Yawnzies. I also like bitlife. I have a pet dog named Pearl, a Lizard named blueberry muffin doe, some fish, a leopard gecko named grace, and my cat lilly just recently died. I miss her. Mom and dad are pretty happy together. I called mom up to ask what she would like to say to her future self. She said, "I've loved raising you, and I am sorry for the mistakes I've made, but I've always loved you and I'm just so incredibly impressed with the young lady you are, and I cant wait to see what each year brings because you amaze me year after year." Dad is at work right now, so I can't ask him. He works for the company Otak. I hope you can show them this letter once you get it. Mom said you will graduate on May 17, 2025. I can't believe I made it this far! I want to tell you what I don't want you to do. Don't do drugs, that's nasty. Don't smoke, you look stupid!! Dont cheat, that's what mean girls do. And just be a good person. But im sure you already follow by this, so dont mind me telling you again! In 2019 we have alot of trends. Vsco girls are real popular right now. They are into scrunchies, hydro flasks, stickers, that fox bag thing, and they love to say "SKSKSK" and "AND I OOP-". But I think vsco girls are pretty. Egirls and Eboys are also trendy now. They are basically just goth people. Vans and crocks are trendy now, too. Starbucks is also pretty popular. Some songs that I like are, "Senorita," "Pumped up Kicks," "Side to side", "Lucid Dreams", and "Sicko Mode". They are all pretty new. We live on 4590 nelson drive. This year for Christmas I mainly just want amazon gift cards. I would love a stuffed animal tho! I also like pokemon, forgot to mention. I think it will be cool to describe how everything is right now on Wednesday, august 21st 2019 at 3:27 PM. I am sitting on the rocking chair mom would rock me in when I was a baby. Pearl is sleeping on the bed. I just heard a plane go by. I am writing this on my google pixel book. I'm at 5%, so I better hurry with this letter! It's nice outside. I have back to school night tonight, and I can't wait to show mom and dad my art. It got hung up where they put good artists work. It was an aspen tree painting! Lilly's cat tower is next to me, even though she no longer lives here. my room has a princess bunk bed, is themed like a jungle, and have alot of paintings. Well, thats all. This is likely the best look back you will have for your childhood. Can't believe its gone. I like life how It is at this moment. Everything is simple and happy. I hope to keep it that way.
