A letter from January 7th, 2019

Dear FutureMe, HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY ALLY! congratulations on making it to adulthood. wait did you make it to adulthood. Oh god are you dead...Anyway how are you? It’s been a while hasn’t it. Just in case you’re wondering back in the past the date is Monday, January 7th, 2019. I know what you are thinking EW MONDAY but don’t freak out yet we’re still on winter break. (School is tomorrow) 😢 Honestly I am NOT ready to go back but it’s fine considering high school is probably much worse. Let’s talk about some things happening in my life right now. For Christmas I got a Nintendo switch and the game smash ultimate which I have been playing wayyy too much and a new skateboard which is twice the size of my old one. So yeah. Are you a procrastinator? I’m a procrastinator. It’s a problem. If you’re procrastinating something right now by reading this letter than put the letter down and GET TO WORK! chop chop future me time’s a wasting. See you thought I would end the letter here but as Donald Trump would say “WRONG”. You’re not getting off the hook that easily. I have a couple questions for you.. First of all has WWIII broken out yet? Are you reading this from an underground bunker fallout four style? Do you have a car? Or am I one of those people that failed the driving test 4,000,000,000 times? Did vine ever come back with a vine 2? Has YouTube gone extinct yet? Is Netflix still a thing? How far has apple gone with the iPhone? ( I have an iPhone 6+ and the latest model is an iPhone XR I think) has Disney taken over the world because honestly they are just buying everything and it’s getting out of hand. Have we made it to mars yet or discovered alien life? Has Florida gone under water due to global warming? Sorry I feel like I’m being a bit overwhelming. Let me tell you a bit more about myself. I currently am an eighth grader at Academic Village Middle school and my height is 5’6. I play the piano and I swim in a team after school. Bubbles is in third grade and is super annoying (I’m jk love you bubbles) Also do we ever use math in the future because people are telling me all the time that math is suuuuper relevant or whatever but I think it was just created to torture children trying to have peaceful lives. I don’t really know what else to say and I should really go because I’m supposed to be asleep and it’s 4:37 am. Well anyway have a very happy birthday!!!! I would give you cake but if I bought it now it would probably go bad. It was really nice talking to you. I hope we can do it again sometime. From: The better version of you
