A letter from your povertous self

Mar 27, 2016 Mar 27, 2017

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Positive, think positive, because your income minus your set expenses minus your normal spending each month equals zero, even though you are living at home. You don't really have to spend any money on food, and yet you've managed to eat out 157 times in 2016 alone. So, you need to grow. In personal responsibility and accountability, in earnings, in savings. This is not going to be easy but planning will help. This is not going to be easy because you don't generally plan. Is there much more that you wish for than financial security? You've just started dating Annie and Liesa but your personal status as someone who's way, way below them on that security hierarchy is disheartening. Plan. Test. Use your willpower. Fight your body and mind's urge for complacency and comfort. There are people who believe in you, do remember that. Love, Youself
