A letter from August 13th, 2013

Dear FutureMe, Well with graduation day quickly approaching (if it has not already occurred) I thought I would remind you of your earlier days in high school and what you wanted then. First right now my idea on boyfriends is that the single life is the only life and hook ups are good (without feelings of course). The only Suffield boy I have gotten with is Ross and the ones who would like to are Garrett (gross, I know), Jay Hutzler (might be a decent catch if he wasn't so much of a loser), Chris Min Quon Choi, and I might be forgetting someone but whatever (if I don't remember then they are probably irrelevant). Anyway drinking... moderation and in Paris is acceptable, other substances are a no. I am going through my Blair Waldorf stage so let me remind you that all that I want is to live in NYC, marry a rich guy, have kids, and live happily ever after. I want to go to school in the city and have looked up NYU, Columbia (that's a reach), Sarah Lawrence (no business?), and Fordham. I am not sure what I want, but I am told I am going to enter the business world. Writing also interests me but who knows! I wonder if I will chose money or true love if life ever gave me that option. Right now, I am not sure but both would be great. At dance things are starting to go downhill. It's technique week and Andrea is cracking down as per usual. I'm sure that will last until like October. I won 2nd place at Starbound for She's Not There which was a big win for me being that I lost to a boy so it doesn't matter. Also, I just want to wish future me luck in the real world with everything. Right now I'm not really sure how everything will turn out but, I hope it all goes well. xo xo Melissa
