Time Travelled — almost 4 years

A letter from August 28th, 2011

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Well hello there! How's it going? Still kicking, I trust? Good for us. So, how has our life been? I'm starting university in a couple of weeks, so I'm going to aim this amazing, time-travelling letter for our 23 birthday. That's four years and one month from now (if my math is right- you know me, it probably isn't). If all goes to plan you will be done your Bachelors Degree by the time you get this missive (If you don't have your degree imma gonna come over there and kick your butt.) Hopefully our life has calmed down in the next (previous??) four years, as we have already been handed enough shit sandwiches in our short little life that we should be used to it by now. (here's hoping for solid gold caviar sandwiches from now on) Right now my goal for after university is to go to sea, somehow or another, is that still the plan? Did you get a tattoo yet? If I weren't so broke, I'd do that tomorrow, so I'll leave it to you I guess. I'm kind of rambling, so I guess I'll ask my other questions when I see you again. When this gets to you, have a drink for me. Give your brother and sister a hug for me next time you see them. I'll give them one on my end on your behalf. So, see you when I see you, and in the meantime, DON'T PANIC, and, always, always, always know where your towel is. Lots of love, from Vintage Morgan
