Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I'm sitting outside in our lovely patio area that is now full of beautiful lush plants and veggies. I'm so glad I bought that lime tree and veggie planters a year ago. They really make this area feel more homely and lived in. I’m so grateful for the changes I’ve initiated and the incremental progress I made month upon month over the past year. I’ve completed the book I wanted to write. I know the success of this has been due to the brainstorming and planning I did in the beginning and the persistence to stick to deadlines I set myself. I’m grateful for being able to understand the difference between a stretch target and a default – this has been what has got me through stressful difficult times and maintained my wellbeing. I’m grateful for all the people along the way who inspired and helped me write my book. I’m also grateful that I have been able to inspire others and present potential role models to other young people about to embark on their careers. I’m so happy in my new role at work. I was worried a year ago that I was potentially working in the wrong industry, however now I realise I just wasn’t in a role that best suited my strengths. Thanks to people within my ever-increasing network I am now in a role that challenges me, but also provides fulfilment at the end of each day. I’m very excited about the 12months unpaid leave we will be taking at the end of this year. We have worked hard to build a sound experience base from which we can pick up from after our travels. Although I am really looking forward to taking leave, I am also really enjoying my current role at work and the prospect of picking up from where I leave off at the end of the year is very exciting and motivating. I look forward to another stimulating and productive 12months! Lots of Love from me xox
