My dearest baby

Dearest Gabriella. Hello my baby, You are going to be 6 months old next week on 28th April 2011. I cannot believe where the past 6 months have gone. I just wanted to let you know that you have changed my life forever. I love you more than I ever thought possible to love another human being (including Daddy). This is a soppy letter that will make you cringe as a teenager and make you weep as an adult. I hope that I am around to embarrass you as a teenager and to make excuses for as an old lady who is peeing in her slippers!!. At the moment you are sleeping soundly in your cot. Daddy is in London catching up with some friends and watching a 'gig' and I am at home relaxing. You are such a wonderful baby. From the moment I saw you I knew my life was complete. You are so beautiful and I only want the best for you. I love your smile, your smell (yes, really) and your eyes. As a baby you have the softest skin ever and I could just sit watch you for hours. Even as I write I can hear you breathing on the baby monitor and it is the most wonderful sound ever. I am being sooo soppy but just wanted you to know that I am so proud to have you as my daughter and to have you in my life. You are so special to me and daddy and we'll always love you.I hope that we have a lovely life together. I hope that we can be best of friends when you are a 'grown up' like me'.
