1) you are not what you are doing. your job does not define you. you define you. never forget that distinction.
2) you are drawn to death as much as yo uare drawn to life. it is why babies and funerals hold the same emotional weight.
3) despite all evidence to the contrary, you are not alone.
3.1) this is not to be confused with lonely. you are lonely all the time. at the very least, I, the part of yourself that is stretch six months behind you like a trailer, am lonely all the time.
4) there is beauty everywhere. use the commonplace to escape the commonplace.
