A letter from January 26th, 2018

Dear FutureMe, Well **** here’s a letter from a random website that you just received. Guess who it is? It’s me! Zennon! I am writing this on the 25th of January, 2018 (just for memorabilia’s sake). So I don’t know how you’re feeling right now. It might be a good day, or a bad one. If it’s a good day, then you might as well stop reading now because you’re having a good day, what else do you need? However, if this is not the case here’s some stuff you can remember to try and pick your spirits up. Just think back to your time in school. You had good friends then, and hey, for all I know, you’re still friends with those same people now. Just think back on wholesome conversations you had with these friends, staying up far too late and thinking way too deep for your age, imagining what the future will be like, and how we will fit into it. It was pretty cool, life up until now. Not to say it didn’t have its ups and downs, but eh, it’s pretty ******* solid. I hope this trend continued on until whatever time it is in the present. It might have been stressful at times and trying at others, but I’m assuming you made it. So you’re here. That may not have been enough to make you fully happy again, but it’ll do. Just remember: it’ll do. Doesn’t have to be perfect, but hey, as long as it’s good enough, that good. Be content with normalcy. So I don’t know what your up to now, maybe you’ve become a politician, or an urban planner. Heck, you might’ve even found a different career that’s even better than those (although that’s hard to believe). I can tell you, right now I’m just worried about Spainish and Chemistry (remember Ms. Vincent and Mr. Kung?) and trying to get an A in my classes. Apples and oranges to you (I think that’s the expression at least?). Well I hope it turned out ok, for my sake at least. I’ve got to go now, pasta with marinara sauce is waiting (and also a strange acne mask). I hope this email (which probably ended up in your junk) brings you happiness and makes you feel that good, warm, wholesome feeling. The feeling of remembering good times with good people.
