hey wanna know what's really freaking sad

i'm in love with my best friend. part of me wants to believe that he has feelings for me, too. i mean, yeah -- of course he's nice to me. we're best friends. of course he loves me. we're best friends. of course he cares about me. we're best friends. of course he wants to meet me. we're best friends. of course he wants to talk to me. we're best friends. so why is it so FREAKING HARD to see him go to a school dance with someone other than me. it's not like i could even go. i go to school 600 miles away. not to mention -- it's the girl's dance. she asked him. he said yes. that's that. ...i'm really starting to feel the divide between high school and college. hopefully by the time you get this, you're in a happy, healthy relationship with someone you love... hopefully him... whatever. none of this going to matter in 8 years anyway.
