Dear America at 250, I am unsure if you are still in one piece. Have you added a state or two? I write to you from July 3rd, 2017. I wonder, what is the latest fad gadget? Is the iPhone still a thing? Is Tim Cook still the CEO of Apple? Is Jeff Bezos still at Amazon.com? I wonder a lot of things. Here in 2017, President Trump is prepping for his first European trip. He is scheduled to meet on the sidelines of the G20 Summit with President Putin of Russia. How does that go? Are we friends with Russia or are we at open war with them? I personally believe that Putin is a dictator, but otherwise a good guy to be friends with. The true bad actor right now is the leadership in China. We should cease all trade with China. But, what do I know? I hope our beautiful America is still prospering. I have one last thought: respect for each other is not dead. Thank you, WJR of Dos Palos, CA
