Message from the past

Hey Misha! happy... ehm... 40th?! yeah... 40th birthday!!! i don't know, if you are still able to remember, but once upon a time (16th of november 2009) you have written yourself a mail, to you remind you about some stuff which are important to you and to check if you're still on the right path ;) At the moment you are on your journey through south-east asia, australia and new zealand. So far you have been to Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. You had a awesome time until now and you're looking forward to travel up the east coast and learn how to surf! Your older sister just got married before you left Switzerland and is now working for IKEA... hehehe... your younger sister is still working as a sellswoman for a sports shop. Your mum and dad just went to spain for a week and they told you that they had a good time (they certainly drank a lot of wine hehehe) I hope you are doing fine! I hope you have been able to settle down and start a family. I would be happy if you have 2 kids by now... yeah that would be awesome! If you have kids, then this would mean that you also finally found a girl which you marry. If that's the case: Congratulations! She must be a pretty good catch! Yeah? Gimme Five! If you haven't got a family yet, then it should be really time for you to start one! Come on dude! Go for it! Isn't it still your dream to have a family?!?! I couldn't imagine... really! But I am pretty sure that you have a family by now... as you are a pretty good catch by yourself, right? Yeah... you know it's true! ;) What else... hmm... make sure that your kids are more awesome then your sisters' kids ;) I hope that you're also by now unlce! you certainly would be the 'cool uncle', right? Otherwise make sure of it and buy them a bike/pony... hehehe. I also hope you are still friends with your hommies and have been able to travel together for at least one month! Otherwise you should try to get them together and make something like that! I hope you had some awesome times together and done some stuff which you can tell once to your future grand-kids ;) I hope that you found something, which makes feel you alive... remember your favorite quote by Howard Thurman: "Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." I hope you also have been able to write your first book, otherwise you should think about to starting one... you had a few very good ideas dude... you really should write one! Ah... and one more thing: I hope you have a awesome bike! I think in your time there are a lot of frickin' awesome motor bikes! i hope there are already bikes like the one which Anakin Skywalker drove when he was still on the good side of the force ;) Sooo... that's all from your past you... dude...really...make me proud out there! love your wife, kids, parents, sisters and their kids!
