Dear FutureMe,
Happy Birthday to you! or to me. Whatever. God it's so weird refering to myself in the second person. I really hope that the world isn't destroyed or overrun by aliens because then I am just wasting time here. So yeah, happy birthday.
So I hope you followed your dreams and became a singer or writer or a forensic psychiatrist. As long as you did not meet someone like the Joker and became bat-**** crazy like Harley Quinn and are currently on the run from law. I sincerely hope not because that would suck.
So what are you doing now? Ooh! Are you seeing anyone? Which country are you in?
And did you finally get that snowflake tattoo? And did you dye your hair some outrageous colour? Have you kept contact with any of our childhood friends? Who's your best friend now?
I hope you're happy right now. Oh,who am I kidding? We both know that life has a way of screwing us over.
So anyway in the distant past which is the present here, I am currently writing this letter while dad is blasting music on his speakers. Oh by the way, I play the guitar so if you don't have one, buy one right now. Don't let that talent go to waste. You'll regret it. And don't stop singing or writing whatever you do. So I am in tenth grade and probably an idiot right now. I actually have no idea what to say/write. You seem like a stranger to me now. I'm afraid of the future. It seems so dark and murky.
Anyway, if anyone invented the time machine, make sure to buy one and travel back into time to give it to me.
One last question: How were the next two parts of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them? Who played Dumbledore and was it any good? Make sure you have watched them the day they released.
Here's to hoping that this letter brought a smile on your face. Happy Birthday!
Yours,
Younger Version.
