Dear Future Abhijeet,
This letter hopes and tries to get you back on track if you swayed away from it, or hopes to make you smile if you continued on the path to greatness.
Remember, it is not the numbers that make you great, but your experiences. Never deprive yourself of an opportunity to have amazing experiences. Travel. And travel a lot. Start photographing memories and keep them close to your heart. You won't have any experiences if you sit in an office the whole day.
By now, you should have found stillness in life, not peace. You should be contented, but you shouldn't be at rest. Remember to always stay hungry. Hungry for life to treat you with its most delicious meal.
I hope that you still do what you love and love what you do. If you're down and about, get up, move and become what you were meant to be and that is the best possible self.
I hope you are not some run of the mill professional, but are an asset to your own self. You should be proud of yourself, Abhijeet and not loathe what the circumstances pushed you to become. If you do hate your job, or work, quit. Now. Go on and do what you love, even if that means starting from scratch.
I hope you are still with Smriti, because she is the love of your life. If you are, go kiss her after you're done reading this. She has been your greatest mentor, guide, best friend and lover. She was with you when you hated yourself and loved every bit of you. Unfortunately, if you aren't, then bring her back and don't let anything stop you. **** if you gotta, but bring her back and make your life better. Trust me.
You should've have invested a lot of your money by now. Property, stocks, insurances, precious elements, technology, businesses in small distributed amounts. But most importantly, you should've invested in yourself. Remember assets are the things that bring in money and liabilities take away that money. If you have any liabilities, get rid of them today. And yes, it is not bad to dream of a luxurious future, if you want one, change. If you have one, relish it and be grateful.
I hope you are an inspiration to your kids if you have any by now. I hope you still write, workout, cook, play table tennis, videogames, soccer, cycle, have learned to swim by now and can write a solid code. I hope you still enjoy good cinema and shows because you used to love them back in the day. I hope you have some **** to your collection now. I hope you have learned to play an instrument by now and have become an avid reader. Books can change your life and they will. That reminds me, if you haven't done anything substantial enough to write an autobiography, stop whatever it is that you're doing and go make a ****** story.
Remeber to stay grateful to Master and the Mission. Remeber to set your priorities straight. Remeber to kick the ******** away. Remeber to love, laugh, live. Good luck for your future ahead and continue to stay on the path.
- 18 year old Abhijeet
