Dear FutureMe,
First of all, how you doin? (By Joey Triviani. From FRIENDS favorite show summer 2016) I hope you accomplished all of your goals in the past DECADE. Seems like a long time from now but I know that time flies and the day I get this letter will come.
This letter was difficult to write because of so many things that are happening. But specially because we are only a few months away from one of the most dramatic/controversial presidential elections in US history. I am writting this letter listening to presidential candidate Donald Trump speak on immigration. Did he get to build that wall? I really hope not. I am writting about him to remind you, whatever may be your reality at the time, to not loose sight of what is important to you. Remember your passion to help others, your devotion to immigrant communities. Remember that you had no status but that didn't stop you from getting into Cal State Northridge. Remember that even tho tu apa fue deportado you kept going and help get your family get through those tough times. Remember to love not only what you do, but also to love and to tell the people you love that you love them. Be true to yourself.
So if you had forgotten these are your goals for when you get this email.
1. Be successful. Not only money-wise overall.(2026)
2. Graduated CSUN (2018-2019) and gone on to law school(UCLA, Standford, or and IVY (2021-2022). (Hope those loans are not ******* you)

4. Have a new car. (2017)
5. Get married. (2020-2023ish)
6. Start paying for a home. (2023)
7. Have a family. 4 kids maybe not by then but that's the ultimate goal. Two boys two girls.
