Time Travelled — almost 10 years

Peaceful right?

Dear 26-year-old me, How are you? I would like to think that you’re happy, or at least content, or at least grateful, or at least TRYING. (If you’re not, then this is your reminder to do so, and if you are, then this is a reminder to be conscious of it!) In a month and a half, your life is going to change. You're starting your first day in school in Ireland. I hope Beaufort College is ready for you because your plan is to kick some ***! You really do have big dreams for you. You have always been a dreamer, and I hope your dreams came true. Did you go to Trinity College? It's a pretty big wish right now. You're not sure either are you going to study computer engineering or electrical (or maybe something third? you never know with you). Whatever you chose I hope you didn't regret it. Did you move to America and started working for NASA? (Well I said you have big dreams..) If you didn't, what are you waiting for? Start working on it! At least try! Do you still have low self-esteem? I hope you learned to love your body because right now you feel like **** about it and want to jump out of your own skin. Did you try modeling, did you write a blog, did you start a youtube channel? You really want to do something of those three, but you just don't believe you can do it. I hope your social anxiety left you over the years, because it's really ruining your life. You still don't know what to do with your life. Everybody keeps saying 'Find a boyfriend' but you say '**** boyfriends! I want to travel the world! Buy myself a big *** house and a brand new car, I don't need anybody to slow me down!' I hope you did all of that, but I still hope you found someone who loves you, because actually you're really lonely, and you need somebody like that. Did you send your mom and your dad to a well-deserved vacation? Mom always said she wanted to go to Hawaii, did you made her dream come true? She deserves it. And buy your dad that Mercedes that he always wanted! I hope you find what makes you happy in life and chase it with all of you. Most importantly I hope you continue getting to know you. You are one in 7 billion. So, future me, I hope you do great in whatever you’re doing. Maybe it’s a wonderful career or an amazing relationship, other stuff you decide to indulge in– whatever it is, best of luck! Hope you’re happy, really :) I love you, stay strong. 16-year-old Nikol.
