Dear FutureMe,
I hope you are doing well. As of right now, you are working to get your first feature film made. You have fewer connections than you would like, but you are starting to have a few meetings. You finished 'Severus Snape and the Marauders' a few months ago, which did just about everything you hoped it would. Maybe it did much more soon after you wrote this letter.
You are months away from proposing to Liana, and you are writing the synopsis for your post-apocalyptic film about a girl who decides to make a film in the buena vista library. I really hope you make that film. It's an uphill climb, especially with the movie you want to use as her inspiration, but you never know.
Do you have any kids? You probably do. You wouldn't wait this long. Hopefully your career and income makes it easy to support their needs. Who are you still friends with since this email was written? Made any new friends? Jeez I hope so. Any famous friends?
I hope your dreams have come true for you. If not, don't stop pursuing them. Under any circumstances. If you have a kid or two, they come first, along with your wife. But don't ever stop pursuing your life's dream of making movies. You made a small but great mark with SSatM. You still have time to make a big one. If you have made it, I'm so proud of you. But if you still haven't, don't stop. I believe in you. Make it happen.
Justin
