A letter from January 22nd, 2016

Dear FutureMe, Right now you are bored, frustrated, and antsy--trying to figure out what to do with your remaining 29 years of life. Your inner secret desire, at the core of your being, is to create something beautiful. You also want to be worthwhile/meaningful/useful/interesting to someone--in a positive way. You love your wife deeply, but feel creatively constrained. She is very supportive, though, so it's really your own channels that are clogging up. It's just difficult to find uninterrupted free-mind time and space. I hope that you were able to build the house on the property in Kansas. AB is going through a divorce right now. I hope she found the man of her dreams. A good righteous man. CB is in Egypt and Jordan right now. I need to encourage her to become some sort of ambassador. CH just started his surveying job. This is his chance at a real career. I wonder what ten years from now will look like. KFH wants to do a tiny-lodging resort. I wish her well. I've never been really proud of some of your decisions, so I hope you've straightened up a bit. Learn to invest yourself in other people. Keep the faith!
