A letter from January 22nd, 2016

Hola Amigo, Como Esta? This is your past self at 1:37PM. You're sitting at your desk working for Milhaus. If you don't remember they are a property development/Construction/Property Management company. You are a staff accountant. It's alright work but I am ready for a change. I have been here a little over 2 years and am ready for a promotion, etc. You are about to start your MBA in a little over a month. It's going to be very costly but in the long run should improve your earning ability and mental capacity. There is snow on the gound and it's freezing cold! You currently live in Indianapolis In with your crazy dog Ellie! She a chocolate lab aged 8.5 months. She loves you a lot and you tolerate her! jk she's the best! I want to move away and live in Colorado, Texas, Pacific Northwest, anywhere but here! Indiana isn't bad but there is no outdoor activity besides Eagle Creek park. Ellie and I love to hike! I am dating a beautiful girl, Amanda Jenna Dorman for almost 8 months now. Coincidentally she came along around the time I got Ellie so I'm pretty sure she is just in it for the puppy! But seriously she likes me a lot and I like her! We have our problems like any other couple and are super independent people. We both have never been in a long term relationship so we're learning every day! I love her a lot and can't imagine life without her. Blah Blah Blah I'm sure everyone says that but even though we are polar opposites we get along really well! I am going to buy my first Mac Book Pro tonight. It's $1,300 but I hope to have it when I read this email again in the future! I did one of these time capsule emails 10 years ago and my how time flys!! I'm so cool to read back and realize all you have done! You went to South Africa this year for two weeks! It was really fun! You are planning a trip with Bryanna, Jason and Amanda to go to Belize for a week! The water looks beautiful! Some hopes I have for the future is that Amanda and I can move away and both have jobs we love in a city we love! She want's a child or two and I'm game. Hopefully we have a beautiful daughter and possibly son or one or the other. Either way I look forward to a long life with her! I hope we can travel more and see the world! Ever since I started traveling I've realized it's a big world out there and it's so much fun to see everywhere! I don't really have any goals except get along with Amanda and see the world! I want to earn my MBA, get a better job at a company I like and move away from Indiana. I would like to be married to her with one or two kids and live somewhere else maybe more warm! I hope to stay in good health and both my dad and mom are alive when I re read this. My dad turns 71 in a week and my mom is about 61. When I read this he will be 81 but I hope he is still as stubborn, energetic and social as he has been! My mom will still be energetic and independent as always, I don't see that changes. Ellie will be 11 at this point so I hope she has calmed down!! I hope our children are healthy and learning and respectable people! I hope we have a large garden and grow many vegetables and flowers for mommy. Well it's time to send out 1099's for the year... they are the worst!! Have a good afternoon!
