10 years well spent?

Time Travelling — almost 10 years

Peaceful right?

Dear Charlotte, Hey! It's 20/12/15 at 23:12 and after thinking hard, have decided to write this email. I'm currently 16 and you are 26. Ten years, eh?! I hope you spent them well and have settled into a life that you are proud of. In this time, you would have finished school and college and hopefully got a good job in a good restaurant. I also hope you've got a group of friends that accept and love you and you've found a partner that makes you forget that there could be anyone else to love and matches you perfectly. Right now I'm watching Love Actually (when I probably should be studying for my GCSEs and buying/wrapping presents) and thinking about life and the choices I am making. Matt mostly. I hope you have made peace with him and you've either moved on or are with him. Just make sure that the person you are with loves you with all their heart and you love them too. That's all we've ever wanted, right? Make sure that you tell the person you are with that you love them. Tell them everyday! Make them feel as special as they make you feel, especially around this time of year. That's all we've ever wanted, right?! I have a task for you my dear, if you're not already, start talking to my current friends again. Ask them out for coffee or lunch or something. I just want you to catch up with the people that are very special in my life right now. Because friendship is so important and they probably miss you too! Also, call Mum, Dad, and Chris and tell them that you love them and have a catch up! FAMILY IS EVERYTHING!! Just know that whatever is happening in your life right now, I love you with all my heart and I believe in you! Remember to stay humble though, and that hard work and determination has helped you to get to where you are! All my love forever and ever, Charly from the past xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
