hey pal....A letter from December 11th, 2015

Dear Future me... By the time this letter reaches you, you'll be nearly THIRTY. How crazy has time flown by?! Hopefully by now, you know what you wanna do with your life. Maybe you'll get lost a few times, but, like always, you'll find your way. Is life getting any better? I hope so. Maybe looking back from TEN YEARS from now, I'll manage to giggle, and reminisce on how times used to be so simple, and how all of my problems were pointless to stress over. By now, you'll definitely be with somebody who loves you, and treats you the way you deserve to be treated. Regardless of whoever they may be, I'm proud of you for doing what makes you happy, and being with you makes you smile. Hopefully, you'll find it in your heart to be who you finally always knew you were. Regardless of what anybody else thought. You deserve it. When people think they have you in their best interest, they may not know that they hurt your feelings along the way. Just remember that Mom and Dad for SURE love you. Thinking about the future is really scary. However, you will find your place. By now, Mimi would have been passed away for Seventeen years. That's over double the age of how old you were when she passed away. How crazy? I've lost some friends while trying to find my way. Some that I thought lasted for a very, long time. Did you ever find self-contentment? I sure hope so, because you deserve to find peace within yourself, and the opinions of sheep should never matter to you. Because you are going places, Brock Chandler Smith. I know it. Because the way you are, is so different than the world that has conformed to its ways. You are not one to conform to thing you didn't believe in. Did the world change you? Are you still shy, modest, polite, and quirky? I'm eager to see what life has in store for you. As short as I would love this to be, I feel like I can't make this short. So, I'll continue if I haven't lost your attention span. Are the terms, "fleek," "Squad Goals," and "Netflix and Chill," still in use? If so, is my Squad "On Fleek?" Speaking of "Squad," who are your friends? Screw Jordan, right? Can you believe how fake he turned out to be after a whole 5 years of friendship? He told you it was because you're completely different people. That was the worst break-up text I've ever received. Even if he was just a friend. Is Mickey, Bethany, Samantha, and Kayley (Who probably still hates all of you guys for no reason again), still in the picture? What about Heather? Is she still living in Michigan? Did she ever get married to Alex? How many kids does she have? I'm worried about her, she moved last month and I talked to her today, and she sounded absolutely miserable. I love her, but I don't know how to help. How in the WORLD is Cody?! Do you even talk anymore?!?! Is she still trying to find his way through life too? I hope he figured it out, because he is truly struggling at this point. Tomorrow, Mickey and I should be traveling to Portsmouth to see Samantha in her Christmas Program. Is she some famous actress now? How many movies has she been in? What ever became of Bethany? Did she find love like I hope she would? She doesn't need another loser in her life. Finally, Mick. What about him? I feel like he will end up with Madison Sudlow. Then, again, he's too much of a "Scrub." (Please tell me you know what "scrub," means?! If not, were you actually in Mass Media? Did you do anything in the media field? Jones should've inspired you enough to apply yourself so much that you just take on the world. I hope whoever you're with now, doesn't get offended by this next question - it's all innocent, I swear it! But did you ever get over Tiffany? Did you ever become a better kisser? Please say yes. (I'm asking because she told B-Bop {Brianna [her sister]} that's why she broke up with you). She is actually such a loser for putting up with that idiot of a guy. I hate how beautiful she is. Inside and out. However, I feel like she's also mortifying and disgusting on the inside at the same time. She deserves the world. But at the same time, she shouldn't treat you the way she does. Same goes Haley. Even though you never really saw her as a girlfriend, she seriously is so rude to you. You deserve much better friends, with much better influences. PLEASE tell me you and Paris are still best friends. She is amazing in every single way. Don't make 'Past Me,' come through this e-mail to 'Future Me,' and smack me silly! Even if you don't talk every single day, you know she has your back. Always. She has ever since you met in 10th Grade english, and had Gym class immediately after - Oh, my goodness. Do I really need to bring up Sophomore Gym?! VOM! Paris has been there for you every single step of the way. You know it too. Don't take her for granted. In case you don't have her number memorized, then it's 304-617-6704. Unless she's moved by now like she wanted to. Paris is the only person you could ever count on. You wanted to cry, you could cry to her. Do yourself a favor: call her right now, this second, don't even continue reading. Look her up on Facebook. Don't let such an amazing person out of your life, she's crazy, and she's certainly something else. What ever became of George and Kristian? Did they get married? Are they still wildly in love with each other? Are they still #Relationshipgoals? Did you ever move to Canada like you once said you wanted to? Maybe twice, or more? Are you and George still close pals? Even if maybe a country away? I know you're gonna miss him. I already do. Do you and Kristian still Facebook Message each other, and call and talk for hours at a night? Even though you know you have an 8AM the next day? Do you remember NANO!? Probably not. I forgot his full name. He's Kristian's friend. (Yes - Pronounced 'Christian' - In case you've forgotten by now). By the time you're reading this, Jonah will be a whole THIRTEEN YEARS OLD. How ridic?! Do you feel old yet?! Good - because you are. Oh my gosh, that means he is going to be in 8th grade, correct? Unless he gets held back, which, I HIGHLY DOUBT. That kid is so smart, it's CRAZY! By extension, this means that Jordan is 38! Right? She's almost FOURTY?! Is she slaying the world with her photogenicness!? I actually bet she's a fashion designer. Am I right? I'm so excited to see where life is going to take her. Is she still with Kyle? I seriously feel like they're amazing for each other. Kylie will be around 13 too. Even though I haven't met her yet, I know that her and Jonah will be close. Okay, let's get real. What about the other side of the family you don't really care much for. That is, except for Brooke. She's truly the only one who you can tolerate; and Braxton, of course. He's quiet, but I don't think he really likes me. Oh well. Did Brooke ever find love? Lucas was a MAJOR loser. But that was so long ago. Oh my gosh - backtracking........what ever became of Johnny?!?! (speaking of losers). Is he trying to be a creep and get in the picture still? Does Jonah ask questions about his birthfather? Finally, what about mom and dad? Are they still around? Give them a hug. You aren't too crazy about them now. I know that in the future, you'll look back and realize how amazing they were. Even if you couldn't see it now. I really hope they ended up happy, no matter all the fights they had. And how moody he got, and how controlling she was, they are actually soulmates. I love them wholeheartedly. Please give them my best, and Sissi, Auntie, Jonah, David, Paris, and everyone else in your life if they're still around to put up with your crazy-self. You're literally so amazing. You've got this, pal. If you're at a low point, then remember who you used to be, and how you're gonna get back on track. No, I DON'T understand, but I know it's never too late if you're still breathing. Bible.
