A letter from September 24th, 2015

Dear FutureMe, Hey! It's your 17 year old self. It's 12th grade right now. I don't know if you'll remember sending this or not. Probably not, knowing your? our? memory, but hey. So it's been ten years. What's happened? I want to know. Are you an engineer, or a professor like you want to be? Do you still talk to Mr. Dolan? Has dad left yet, is he going to leave? I have a lot of questions, I know you can't send a letter to past me, but it would be nice to know. Is Engineer School really as hard as everyone says it is? I'm afraid I might drop out if I get sick again. I couldn't do it if I got sick. And I hope you're not sick - if you are, this is your stupid wake up call to get better! And if you did drop out... DON'T GIVE UP! YOU WANT THIS MORE! You can go back! How is Griffin? He's 22 now, right? Tell him I love him. And most importantly - have you decided yet? On whether you're going to be David or Sophie? I wish I could be David right now, but maybe you changed your mind. I wish everyone knew me as David right from the start.
