Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Today you are 27 years old. You are working as an Assistant Professor in the University and you need to get your tenure soon or else they'll kick you out. You are also poised to become secretary to the faculty, which is a very difficult job. But it'll pay, so that's a consolation. You are sick of doing grades. You are sick physically, and sick of a lot of things and you're regularly grumpy. I vowed today that I will persist. I will persevere for the future -- for you. I will go through all this junk so that it gets easier when you have to. Hopefully you no longer have to. Your birthday is coming up in a few months. You are turning 30. My boyfriend said he'll marry me when I turn 30. Has he proposed yet? Where are you in your life now? 1. If you're still earning the same as me, or less 2. and Working as hard as me, or harder 3. If it doesn't seem like you'll be getting a PhD or getting married anytime soon 4. If you ever feel uncertain this is the best time to go somewhere and do something for yourself. I don't like travel, not sure if you still don't too. But I feel like we should. Book an International trip for our 30th birthday. Let's go somewhere. We need to go somewhere. We need to disappear. And when we come back, things will most probably be exactly the same. But we won't be.
